How to Apply for GATE 2027?
The GATE 2027 application process is conducted online through the official GATE portal. Candidates can register, fill in their personal and academic details, select their GATE paper and examination cities, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee online.
Before starting the application, aspirants should keep their required documents, photograph, signature and other details ready. Candidates are also advised to carefully check all information before submitting the GATE 2027 application form.
GATE 2027
National Level Examination
GATE is a nationally conducted examination assessing candidates’ knowledge and understanding of eligible undergraduate-level subjects.
30 Test Papers
Candidates can choose from a wide range of test papers covering Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, Commerce, Arts and Humanities.
Score Validity
GATE scores remain valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results, subject to applicable institutional requirements.

Important Note on Special Paper Structures
The marks distribution differs for certain papers, including AR, CY, DA, EY, GE, GG, MA, PH, RA, ST, XH and XL. Papers such as XE, XH and XL also contain common and optional sections. Candidates should check the detailed paper-specific pattern before selecting a test paper.
